NinaSayCheese is the winner of the Sweet Table Contest !
We are over the moon! We were announced as the winner of the International Sweet Table Contest. In Good Company [www.ingoodcompany.co.za] promoted the competition and we found all the details on their blog and bought a lot of goodies for the table from them. We love parties and cakes and all things sweet, so we had to enter. Our Circus set was the main inspiration and theme for our table. Taryne [www.tarynejakobi.co.za] helped us with the styling and yummy sweets and cakes, thanks Taryne! So we had a theme and food to match but we had to come up with a fun approach, so we decided to suspend our table !- what fun, we used rope like they would in a real circus and used our circus set floor as a round table. The suspended table plays with the idea of tight-rope balancing acts too. We used our star poodle as another design element. Her name is Kiki by the way.The food included cake pops, mini toffee apples, cupcakes, 102 jelly beans, meringues, macarons and sweet cinnamon popcorn. Sweeeeet.
19 Countries entered, from Canada to Sweden to Australia. Then the voting process started.
